A Victim Impact Panel, (commonly referred to as a “V.I.P.”), is a two hour presentation given by individuals who have either been impacted by a drunk driver or by individuals who either injured or killed a person when they were driving drunk.
Client’s have told me that this was the class that was most beneficial to them.
If you miss the Victim Impact Panel that you were scheduled for, you will be required to pay an additional fee and will have one chance to be reassigned to another date to attend. If you fail to appear at the second Victim Impact Panel, you will need permission from the sentencing Judge to have a third Victim Impact Panel scheduled.
