Cook County greed strikes again!
Cook County is getting ready to charge for parking at the courthouses located at Bridgview, Maywood, Rolling Meadows and Markham. The last month there has been concrete work on the parking lots- – installing center islands at the entry of the parking lots.
I was told by a Cook County Sheriff that no official notice has been posted yet but the word is that employees, attorneys, defendants, witnesses, (everybody except Judges and individuals reporting for jury duty) will have to pay $5.00 to park. I also heard that the parking lots will be managed by Standard Parking.
